Product Description
VentureClad™ Plus 1579 is a patented, zero permeability, absolute weather and vapour barrier for insulation cladding and jacketing applications. The 13-ply material is as tough as metal jacketing materials but provides quicker, safer and easier installation without the need for special tools. VentureClad™ Plus is available in both a self-adhesive (1579CW®) version and a non-adhesive (1579NA) version.
VentureClad™ Plus exceeds most building code requirements and can be used for new construction as well as repair on existing structures.
Product Features
- Flexible, strong, fabric reinforced insulation cladding product combines vapour barrier function with heavy-duty all weather mechanical protection
- Ultra high performance jacketing product performs well over a wide temperature range; -30°F to +300°F (-34°C to +149°C) service temperature
- Venture CW® cold weather acrylic adhesive applies easily at temperatures as cold as -10°F (-23°C)
- Zero permeability, absolute vapour barrier
- High puncture and tear resistance
- Contains tested and approved mould inhibiting agents
- The material installs easily with no off-site fabrication required
- Ideal for use over all types of insulation materials including fibreglass, mineral wool, calcium silicate, perlite, urethane and polystyrene
- Exceeds standard exterior building design requirements (UL 723 50/75 Flame Spread/Smoke Rating)

- Self-Adhesive versions (1579CW) are available in Natural Aluminium (1579CW®), Natural Aluminium Stucco Embossed (1579CW® - E), and White (1579CW® - W)
- Non-Adhesive versions (1579NA) are available in Natural Aluminium (1579NA) and White (1579NA - W)
- Standard (CW) widths: 23" (584mm), 30" (760mm), 35½" (900mm), and 46" (1170mm)
- Standard (CW) length: 25 yards (23m)
