Natural Gas

Image of Gas

To satisfy the ever growing thirst for energy around the world, a lot of gas fields are being monetized. Moreover an increasing quantity of LNG are shipped by sea from gas fields to power generation plants (Gencos). At both ends of the journey natural gas is converted into liquid and vice versa.

Conversion facilities require handling of cryogenic LNG. Insulation plays a key role in protecting the conversion equipment from ambient heat. The efficiency of the system that chills and compresses the gases is highly dependant on the equipment insulation. Better insulation reduces boil off gases, and result in substantial savings.

VentureClad™ insulation solutions are well positioned for the demanding thermal management environment of LNG applications.
